Cleto Chiarli's Lambrusco Grasparossa wins over Wine Enthusiast

Lambrusco is experiencing a new quality era thanks to vineyard work and the rediscovery of historic clones. "In the 1980s we began to recover the old clones in our vineyards. After massal selection we replanted the descendants of the best vines, obtaining deeper and more authentic wines," said Anselmo Chiarli, General Manager of Chiarli and Cleto Chiarli, interviewed by Wine Enthusiast.

The American magazine included two Cleto Chiarli labels among the best Lambrusco Grasparossa wines: Vecchia Modena Noir, awarded 93 points (Best Buy), and Pruno Nero Lambrusco di Modena, rated 90 points (Best Buy).
